Yet, as a blogger you must constantly strive to expose your blog to more people. Fame in the blogging world equals fortune and the more exposure you get, the more visitors you’ll receive organically. Bring more traffic to your site and you will get more clicks on your Infolinks In-Text ads, which means more money for you! Follow some of our tips below to be a fame monster!

Friends Help Friends Blog

Do you have any buddies that are also bloggers like you? Cooperate together and guest blog for each other. This is a great way to garner more attention and reach new demographics of readers, whom otherwise might not know you or visit your site. Also, many already famous bloggers are willing to allow qualified and talented guest bloggers to occasionally publish relevant articles on their website. Peruse some of your favorite blogs and take initiative by sending them your proposal.

Expand Your Blogger Community

Web 2.0 is constantly providing awesome new tools and opportunities to connect with other like-minded webizens. Have you checked out the thriving blogging communities at such sites as Technorati and BlogCatalog yet? If not, sign up today, categorize your blog(s) and begin browsing other blog networks similar to yours. Sincerely interact with your fellow blogger by reading and leaving insightful comments to build your blog community while gaining exposure.
*Remember, no one likes a spammer! Be sure that your interactions are thoughtful and not just self-promotional.

StumbleUpon – On Purpose

The worldwide web is so rife with an infinity of information; cute cat videos, how-to blogs and silly pictures, that the average person can be overwhelmed. That’s why StumbleUpon provides a targeted browsing experience to discover information that you’re interested in. Share some of your more interesting content here and you can capture new fans!

Create a Social Experience

Of course you know that utilizing Social Media such as Facebook and Twitter can help widen your reach of exposure – but you can also create your own community within your blog. Consider adding a forum or chat room to your blog to open up dialogue and have your readers contribute to the conversation. Not only can forums keep your readers engaged and visiting more pages, it is a huge asset to SEO, which can help increase organic traffic to your website.

There are plenty of other strategies you can implement to reach your web presence goals. Some may seem like a lot of work, but remember that every bit of effort can help you not only gain more readers, but turn those golden words of yours into money with Infolinks In-Text ads!

We truly are a family here at Infolinks, and we want to let you in on what we do and who we are. Enjoy our new blog series introducing our team members. Today we will be featuring Danielle, our Client Relations Specialist, who works to keep you, our publishers, happy!

My name is Danielle Deeds and I’m the Client Relations Specialist at Infolinks Inc. I am 25-years-old, originally from Miami Florida and I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. I have worked at Infolinks for almost a year now and I truly enjoy being part of such an amazing company. I have been working in the advertising industry for over three years, and working for Infolinks is by far the best decision I have ever made.

Infolinks truly cares about their employees and their publishers. The number one goal here at Infolinks is always to keep the publisher happy and that’s precisely what I try to do.

As, the Client Relations Specialist, I help our publishers make more money by optimizing their websites, which in turn makes everyone happy. One of the ways I optimize our publishers’ sites, is by giving them tips on how to improve the appearance and placement of their In-Text ads. I also introduce them to all the exclusive features Infolinks has to offer such as Related Tags and Tag Cloud. There is nothing more fulfilling than to get to work, open my computer and read numerous emails from our publishers thanking me for helping them increase their earnings by up to 30% simply by optimizing their websites. With all the exclusive features Infolinks has to offer, anyone with a website (big or small) can start earning revenue.

Thanks to our brilliant Development Team, another great perk about working at Infolinks is that I am constantly learning about the latest technology available on the market today. Since I am kind of a techy nerd, being exposed to the most cutting-edge advancements is a really great bonus.

When I’m not working at Infolinks I enjoy going for a swim at the beach and hanging out with friends. I am a very social person and I enjoy dancing and meeting new people. I love to smile and laugh, to me these are the most important qualities to have as a person. So when you’re making high revenue and smiling, I’m smiling with you.

However, context also reigns supreme for online publishing. Writing about current, interesting and unique topics helps you attract new traffic and keep that traffic on your site – reading your words and clicking on ads.

Stay Informed

How can you deliver relevant, breaking information to your blog’s visitors unless you stay on top of industry news significant to your blog topic? Whether you write about cupcakes, automobiles or rocket science, by producing entries that will capture your readers, you guarantee keeping them engaged and devouring your words. Not only that, but you will garner return visitors who depend on your entries for industry news and to want to stay privy of the most relevant breaking information.

Incorporate “In-Demand” Content

Although your blog subject should be clear and on topic, by finding new creative ways to incorporate popular news or subjects not exactly related to your blog theme into your posts, you can attract a different demographic of readership. This will not only increase traffic, but also provide the context for ad networks (such as Infolinks) to deliver high paying ads to yield higher earnings for you. Variety is the spice of life, and by allowing Infolinks smart algorithm to match our premium ads to a variety of keywords, you can spice up your bank account too!

Sharpen Your Skills

One of the tricks of really great writers is adapting the habit of being an avid reader. This is especially important not only to native English speakers, but if English is not your mother tongue, a voracious reading addiction can help you broaden your vocabulary and perfect your grammar. This can help you clearly express yourself to your readers and nurture a diverse writing style. Broaden your vocabulary and allow Infolinks to turn your content into money.

Follow these three challenges to keep your writing royal. Relevancy and diversity should reign on your blog to help you attract more traffic and monetize new genres of high-paying, premium ads with Infolinks. Long live Content and Context!

It is a brief history/timeline of advertising and its evolution. Starting off in ancient Egypt all the way to today’s methods of advertising on the worldwide web, some of the biggest and most interesting landmarks are documented on this fun and creative timeline.

Do you know that the first print ad was created in England, and it was for a prayer book? Or that the first official TV commercial was in 1941 for Bulova watches? Bet ya didn’t know that the first keyword ad was “golf”! The evolution of advertising has experienced milestones such as the printing press and television which impacted advertising format immensely. However, the internet has revolutionized advertising perhaps the most, and we believe that In-Text advertising is the next generation of advertising. So it was important to review where advertising began in order to better understand we are headed!

Check out the Infographic below and share it on your own site for your readers to enjoy! Don’t forget to add a link back to www.infolinks.com so they can learn more about the next generation of online advertising…

Infolinks’ script does not slow down your website and therefore keeps your page rank high and delivers better Google traffic. Google’s Page Speed Tool reveals which elements slow down your site. Read more below and share the Infographic on your own site for a chance to win a brand new Kindle Fire!

Google made official earlier this year that website load time impacts Google Rank. In other words, the longer it takes your page to load, the lower rank you will receive from Google. They also went a step further to help site owners see which add-ons and elements are slowing down their sites. Now it’s simple to test out your website and find out what is slowing down your site. Test yours now!

Infolinks Won’t Slow Down Your Site

Now Google has answered what feels like a never-ending debate amongst publishers as to whether In-Text Ads slow down websites. Technology analysis with Google’s own tools reveals that Kontera slows down page load time which lowers Google rank, while Infolinks is 50 times faster and so a much better choice for website publishers who seek Google traffic.

The Infographic below examines 3 popular site elements, Toolbars, In-Text Ads and Social Buttons and how they are affecting your speedy ways. Read on for some practical tips to keep your site in the fast lane.

Keep in mind the following points before reviewing the Google Page Rank Race Infographic below to improve your overall speed and search ranking for your own websites and blogs:

The longer it takes to your page to load, the lower rank your page receives

Higher Page Rank = More Google Traffic

More Concise Code = Faster and more pleasant browsing experience

Javascript can greatly slow down the speed and performance of your web site

Share Infographic to win a Kindle Fire

We want you to help us spread the news about Infolinks’ speed – and since it’s all about speed, the faster you are the better! One of the first fifty people to publish the Infographic below and share the link on our Facebook Fan Page will be chosen randomly to win a brand new Kindle Fire. On your mark, get set and go share this awesome Infographic with your readers for a chance to be the proud owner of a Kindle Fire.

Choose Infolinks – the Google Speed Champion to monetize your site without slowing it down!

I have been a member of Infolinks for quite sometime. I loved how easy it was to integrate the codes into my blog, plus who doesn’t like earning money? I also love how the ads themselves are inside my text. When I saw that Infolinks was having a Marketplace Campaign via their Facebook page, I knew I had to participate. Thankfully I did because I was announced as the winner of a $200 coupon to help me get started with the Marketplace.

The general idea of Infolinks Marketplace reminded me of Google Adwords and I had success with Adwords in the past. I had really high hopes and goals with Infolinks Marketplace and the end result was very pleasing. As I began to familiarize myself with the interface, I realized how easy it was to create my own ad and to have it shown to numerous people. When I actually got started, my first ad group was created for me, which was quite helpful as I am a busy person.

The first day of my ad being live, I received double the traffic than I normally would have and since then, it has continued to grow. My blog has now reached thousands of people and I have Infolinks to thank. Although I had won a coupon and did not necessarily pay, Infolinks Marketplace is budget friendly and you ultimately have control over every aspect of your ad.

The amount of help and guidance I received was amazing and Infolinks truly want their publishers to achieve the most out of their websites. Like I said previously, my traffic literally doubled (plus some) when my ads went live. I wish I would have kept track, but before my ad went live, I was getting anywhere from 100-200 visitors a day. Now, this is also because I was not posting as much, but it was definitely a decline from the 800+ visitors I had when I first started blogging.

After I participated in the Marketplace, my traffic shot through the roof and exceeded any amount of traffic I had before. It also helped with my earnings and I am getting extremely closer to cashing out at Infolinks and Google AdSense.

The success I have had with Infolinks Marketplace prompts me to keep blogging and showing others what I have to offer. All it takes is $5 to start and from there, anything is possible. I can honestly say that Infolink’s Marketplace has helped me tremendously with my earnings, publication and my confidence in the blogging world.

Check out Katie’s own blog post about her experience with Infolinks’ Marketplace here.

November is dedicated to the moustache here at Infolinks, and from now on will be known as “Movember.” In the same spirit as our Click-Pink Campaign in support of Breast Cancer Awareness during October, Infolinks is partnering with Movember.com this November to support their efforts in the fight against prostate cancer and other cancers plaguing men.

The concept behind Movember is that men everywhere shave their faces smooth on October 31st and grow out their facial hair during the whole month of November. Hence, every man who decides to take part becomes a walking, talking billboard in support of the Movember cause.

Similar to Click-Pink, Infolinks redesigned our famous In-Text ad bubbles to have a green hue and a link to Movember.com with a matching moustache icon. These moustached, made-over bubbles appear across our network and link to more information about Movember.

You and your moustache can be stars!

But our Movember festivities don’t end there, we are also petitioning our entire network of publishers and fans across the web to start November with a clean shaven face and join the Mo-Bros (the men growing their moustaches and goatees.)

To become an official Infolinks Mo Bro simply share with us pictures of you and your moustache! The longer, curlier and bushier the better! Email us your pic to blog@infolinks.com and you will be featured on our Facebook Fan Page for everyone to enjoy.

We will feature your “staches” on our Facebook page and our favorite pic will be featured in its own Infolinks In-Text ad campaign and you will win a brand new Philips Norelco Electric Razor (for December). So start growing out your Movember stubble and you may be the lucky Mo Bro!

*Also stay tuned for the Infolinks’ Mo Bros as we share pictures of Infolinks employees growing out their moustaches this Movember!

Get Your Mo On

Mo Bros and even Mo Sisters can help support this worthy cause. Every time you see our green Movember ad bubbles, go ahead and click! Also share this blog post with your social networks to raise more awareness for this campaign. Any sized donation to Movember.com, Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation, will help raise Awareness, Education, Survivorship and Research. Click, Share and Give this Movember while you’re busy growing out those beautifully groomed moustaches!

Infolinks’ cutting-edge technology is not only serving its valued publishers, but also serving a higher purpose to increase awareness for a worthy cause that affects millions of women and families around the globe. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an important time to focus on an issue that truly requires year round attention. This month we are joining the fight against this deadly disease by promoting various top Breast Cancer Foundations across our network.

Our campaign is called “Click Pink”, and that’s exactly what we want you to do. Our newly made-over ad bubble is now sporting a pink hue, pink ribbon and a link sharing more about this disease and the fight against it. “Click Pink” on our ads (on such sites as tmz.com, howtodothings.com and womens-health.com)to learn more about prevention, treatment and how to support victims of this terrible disease.

Every year over 250,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in the United States alone, and Infolinks is committed to spreading knowledge by giving exposure to BreastCancer.org, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Each of these reputable charities have a different focus, but all fight for the cure by funding free mammograms for under-privileged women or supporting research programs across the top facilities in the United States, and even helping provide education and support for the brave women fighting

You may be asking yourself how you can help. First of all click away, every time you see our “click pink” links in the pink-hued bubbles. Also share this blog post with your social networks to raise more awareness for this campaign. And finally, these non-profits could also use your financial support. Your donation will go towards support and education for families dealing with this difficult journey, breast cancer research and prevention via funded mammograms for early detection.

A few facts about Breast Cancer:

Breast Cancer accounts for 22.9% of all cancer cases worldwide

1 in almost every 8 women will develop some form of breast cancer in her lifetime

This week we have a very special announcement for you about another great pairing that is a sweet deal for all those involved. Infolinks In-Text Ads Network is now joining forces with YouSayToo.

YouSayToo is a monetizing platform/community of bloggers where publishers can centralize all of their blogs; no matter what platform they are using (e.g. WordPress, Blogger, Tumblr, etc.) Now this community of over 37,000 members will enjoy the power of the leading In-Text ad provider (that’s us!) We turn your words into money and now YouSayToo is offering its publishers the option to automatically enable Infolinks In-Text ads, as well as our Related Tags, Tag Cloud and Search Widget.

YouSayToo’s primary mission is to help boost its community’s following and revenue. Bloggers in the YouSayToo community have the option to earn Infolinks revenue for themselves, or donate it to their favorite charity. So the power of Infolinks In-Text ads can also be used to raise money for many charitable causes. Everybody wins with such a sweet pairing!
